Home Insurance
Our friends are moving bank to USA for a few years and in the meantime will be letting their house on long term let. They say their home insurance covers them - is this correct? I though that you had to declare if your home is being rented out to the insurance company, otherwise it could be void if a claim is ever made for damage to building.
Please help.
jimmybowen, sorry about the lack of response. Maybe one of these topics will help:
Other Industries Forum ... legal stuff, any relevant links, the entire gamut basically. Not corporate, but personal insurance ... Title is self-explanatory. Not insurance, but the insurance industry. How it operates, roles, ...
No promises, but thought I'd mention a few relevant users that work in the industry: @Flo_Pan1" CFLateral Matt-Devanney
You're welcome.
Home insureance is useful and everyone should do it. Thank you so much glad to find out your thread here. :)
You always have to read your insurance policy, but the typical home insurance would not cover that type of activity. You’d have to contact your insurance company and add an exception to your policy (or get an entirely new one).
