I am a fldp at a f100... What should I be doing?
Perhaps a little bit of an odd question but I do have a few. I am currently in rotation at a f100 FLDP and have to Say that it is pretty enjoyable work, and the hours are not as bad as most would think. My question is to more experienced persons out there as sort of a mentor question, what should I be doing with spare time right now? Should I have all my focus on my company and spend all my time on that, or should I be studying for the GMAT on the weekends or even for the CFA?
As far as business schools go, is it really worth it to go to a top school and have to leave the corporate ladder you may have been progressing on?
It seems the most common thing with my company is working the typical 8-5 (ok 7-6) for the rotations and then staying with the company and taking the sfa roll shortly thereafter. I'm just wondering what the thought process was of someone who decided to put the workload of trying to get another cirtificate or into a top mba, while still excelling at their career, and why you thought it was worth it?
A lot of questions I know...... I am of course also happy to answer any questions about FLDP though I know there are already a lot of those threads
