Is a Politics and Management Degree Useful for a Career in Finance?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask for an opinion what weight would a Politics and Management degree at a semi-target University in the UK have.

I was wondering whether this degree is employable in Finance. At least it has the Management component but I wanted to ask what you think about its usefullness for for Corporate Finance or IB.

I am very grateful for any comments, answers or discussion points!

The degree is fine but won't be useful. Not even an economics degree teaches you the actual practical parts of the job and recruiters in the UK don't really need you to know these things. Your degree just ticks a box that measures the academic capability and then they filter for 5-10 other qualities.
