Question about AR/AP Book Keeping Type Accounting Jobs.

I a recruiter suggested I take on some entry level accounting jobs (Types mentioned in thread title) and I thought that may be a good idea for the short term

Do you learn on the job or you supposed to know how to do most of the stuff?

Are the jobs okay for a person with basic accounting skills?

What topics might be addressed on an interview?

I got a 97% in my finance course 4 years ago, so I think its a matter of re-learning the stuff using online videos, but I am not sure what I need to know and to what extent.

Thank you.
