Samsung Electronics America Strategy Group

Hi Guys,

I got an offer from Samsung Electronics America's Corporate Strategy Group (this is different to their Global Strategy Group GSG). I was wondering if anyone knows much about team culture, projects and exit opportunities? Can a move to Apple, Facebook, Google, Amazon etc be possible from this?

Thanks!

I have a friend who used to work there in the "Corporate Finance " department, not exactly sure what group within it. He is now in one of the aforementioned companies. Samsung is reputable in the market for sure, but have heard stories about their culture mimicing the Korean culture of doing lots of ruthless happy hours after work and highly following the importance of "seniority". It's part of the Korean culture. Are you Korean by chance? It doesn't matter as I've heard the NJ office is diverse despite being a Korean company.
