Walmart Accounting & Finance Development Program

I am prepping to do an interview with Walmart for the full-time Accounting & finance development program position. Apparently, they will be asking me a basic accounting question in the interview? I've never heard of this but surely it can't be mind-blowing hard since we can't use a calculator. Also, has anyone heard or been offered this position?

Let the comments & tips start rolling please

Other people on the board have been offered a position there and hopefully they chime in. Whatever they throw at you probably won't be that difficult. The AFDP is newer and it sounds like the location hasn't been attracting top candidates.

I recently met an interviewee who had been in that program and I will say that I was very disappointed. We receive a lot of applicants from our own FDLP and they are head and shoulders above the person from Walmart AFDP. That candidate was shitting all over the others in the program so I shudder to think what the rest of them must be like.

Good luck on the interview, you'll probably be fine though.

Thanks! I've heard the same thing you're saying. A lot of candidates aren't taking the position because of the location but, Walmart being Fortune 1 I'd say just getting their name on your resume doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Thanks again for the response!
