Carlyle Credit Comp

Anyone know what comp is like in Carlyle’s illiquid credit group? Is everyone in this group based in NY or are they spread out between Chicago, SF, DC, LA?

Worked across from them in banking. With a few exceptions, everyone is in NYC...I think there are a few energy people in Houston and one ex-THL guy in LA from what I remember. I got the sense that hours were something in the 70-80 ballpark and I don't have a good sense of comp but I would imagine it's in the $250-300 range at the associate level, similar to some of the other MF credit arms.

This seems pretty low from what I've heard… analysts nowadays getting hired into MF credit/distressed arms are getting ~200-225k all in right out of undergrad. Associates are definitely north of 300k

If you have data on BXPE figures for analysts I would appreciate the data point. P
