CBRE Debt and Structured Finance exit opportunities to top Private Credit firms

Dear all,

For the next upcoming years I’ll be working at the DSF at CBRE, working on the capital markets team. I’m glad I got this opportunity straight out of my BSc degree rather than having to pursue a MSc

I was told by my head that there is an opportunity to lateral to London after a few years; and as I told them I’d wish to build an international career and eventually complete an MBA in the US after being in the business for 5 years to continue my career in New York.

Furthermore I also have an offer at imperial London for the MSc finance. I thought the work experience may be more valuable than the degree, heard many people don’t ask your master degree anymore once you have 2-3 years of work experience.

Anyway, does such a role offer exit oops to more specialized debt firms such as Apollo, Ares, etc?

Regards,
