Incoming An1 at a lending group within a CIB at an international (Mizuho/Smbc/etc). Ideally I want to move to a work world with much more complicated deals and more structuring within the fund world. (Think like distressed credit). I was wondering if anyone had stories of jumps from CB to Credit funds and could share some advice. Thank you

CB to IB (LevFin) after a year and then to Credit HF (doing hairier credit lending). Direct to credit HF will be tough from CB. If you are specifically referring to distressed/special sits type credit HF then try to transition to RX IB
How about from megafund private credit?
