True CR in Plano starts closer to 60k base.
Credit analysts who started in Plano in 2020 and 2021 had salary set at 65k starting, goes up to 70k after 6 months. Word going around that they will get a bump very soon after the new year (my assumption is that NY Analysts would be re-pegged to IBD, and Plano will be that minus 20k like it is now). Plano will always be a discount to NY for credit at least, despite no other part of CIB adjusting salaries for location. This is half of the reason for why they are losing analysts like crazy but senior management too dumb to realize.

The 65 number being floated is incorrect as of now.... even the middle market group in the commercial bank raised from 65 to 80
