JPM CIB Credit Risk Summer Analyst training

Hello all,

I fortunately recently received an offer for JPM’s Plano, TX office in Credit Risk and had a small question about the training program. The job description mentions that the program begins with a week-long training session in New York—does anyone know if this applies to all offices, including Plano & Houston? There seems to be a lot of outdated info out there on WSO with JPM relatively recently moving part of Credit Risk to Texas.

Hey there, congrats on your offer! That's a big step. Now, about your question, the context does mention that there is a training program for the Credit Risk role at JPM. However, it doesn't specify whether this applies to all offices or if JPM covers travel and hotel expenses. It might be best to reach out directly to your contact at JPM for the most accurate information.

As for the role itself, the context does provide some insights: - It's a unique program that has changed a lot recently. - The training program is the same as the one for investment banking analysts, with an additional credit-specific training. - It's a 2.5-year program. - The base salary at the analyst level is currently 85k for the 1st year, 90k for the 2nd year, and 95k for the 3rd year.

I hope this helps, and best of luck with your new role!

My offer letter said base salary is $90k with a $2.5 signing bonus for the internship. Assuming FT would be the same + yearly bonus & a bigger signing bonus
