MF PC Summer Analyst Options
Ignore title (last summer) - I'm currently at a MF (KKR/Carlyle/Ares) in their private credit arm as a SA and I'm interested in PE or Special Sits down the line as Associate or Analyst (few FT Analyst programs). Has anyone gone through a similar decision/path or has any insight into how to best approach this? Would think that as an investor I've developed a better skill set than in IB so wouldn't want to go back for FT, but I'm still open to doing so if absolutely necessary

Made a similar choice and went for RX IB, the modeling in vanilla PC was just not very intensive if you are just sensitizing the sellside operating model and calculating returns, so depends on how much your shop does
