PC Shops to look out for
Currently an analyst 2 in levfin, so have been thinking about the switch to Private Credit. Aside from the MF PC Firms (BX, KKR, Apollo) what are the big name/growing private credit shops I should be looking to apply to?
Btw, looking ideally for UMM and DL but would be interested to hear about PC shops that do other strats as well!

Got it, yep planning on recruiting for the big shops like the ones you mentioned but was wondering if there were any underrated ones (if that exists?)
Canyon is expanding rapidly into PC and so are Oaktree, Carlyle. Park Square has solid reputation in europe and now expanding to the US. Sona as well. Ares hasn’t been mentioned but it’s outstanding.

do these rankings include BDCs?
I'm not totally sure. Ares & Blackstone both have large BDCs, though I have no clue how much of their fund is BDC and how much is a traditional blind pool. If this was comprehensive for BDCs, I would have expected to see Sixth Street as well.
