Private Debt online assessment
Hi all, as part of my interview process I was asked to do a 2-hour assessment online. The HR said that "it is an Excel as well as a PowerPoint assessment utilizing the financial data. It will include financial modelling and then you will present the work in the PowerPoint." I have a consulting background and haven't done modelling since the university. Could someone give me some advice on what to study for the excel part (also any links to videos would be appreciated)? I have 2 days time to prepare. Thanks!
PowerPoint will include Merits / Risk of the Credit. Financial modeling likely to be to get to FCF, where you forecast key line items and calculate a few ratios
Check out lifeandlevfin. They have case studies available and I think they added in a more advanced one after their easy version was released. I used it when interviewing for IB leveraged finance and it was super helpful, even the free stuff.
