Transitioning from Lev Fin Internship to Private Credit - Seeking Full-Time Opportunities

Hello WSO community,

I recently wrapped up an internship in Leveraged Finance and have grown a profound interest in the Private Credit space. Having gained a strong foundation in analyzing credit risks and structuring deals, I'm eager to dive deeper into the direct lending and private credit market.

I'm reaching out to this knowledgeable community for guidance(1 is the most important!):
1. Are there any teams or firms on the street currently hiring full-time roles suitable for a new grad with a background in Lev Fin?
2. Would love to hear from anyone who made a similar transition and any insights they might have regarding skillsets that are transferable and any potential gaps I should be looking to fill.
3. Additionally, any resources or courses you'd recommend to further solidify my understanding of private credit would be much appreciated.

I'm genuinely passionate about the world of private credit and am eager to contribute and learn. If anyone is open to connecting for a quick chat or has any leads on teams hiring, I'd be immensely grateful.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and advice!

Feel free to modify the note as needed to fit your personal style and situation. Best of luck in your job search!
