Portfolio Analyst -$67-73k

Portfolio Associate- $75-80k?

Bonuses and raises were in the 10-12% for both. Base pay is based on COL/City. First year analyst is hourly and you typically aren’t allowed overtime.

Information may be stale dated, I’ve since left the bank.

$78k base, $7.5k sign on bonus, $5k relocation after 6 month program in Charlotte, 10-15% year end bonus (SF home office) ~100k all-in. 40 hour work week. You can jump to PM or RM after 1-2 years. RMs make more in bonus. 120-160k base. 10-30% year end bonus.

More PM spots than RM. And you usually won’t be PM/RM until end of the 3 year program, and that’s only if there’s a spot in your market.

Lots of office politics in and around placement.

This is true. RM is tougher to get. On a side note, I've seen analysts internally lateral to PM, IB, and Corp Banking associate roles after 2 years. Also had my home office placement in writing before starting the Charlotte program phase.
