Anyone investing in graded sports cards & NFT's? What's your thoughts on them?

I've always been into investments. I made my first big investment in high school when I bought about 5k worth of pre-owned shoes that I ultimately ended up flipping for around ~25k. It was very easy for me, but I eventually got bored of doing that shit. What else are people investing in that seems fun and exciting?

The shoe game isn't the same anymore and I'm getting older, and shoes just doesn't do it for me no more. Does anyone do graded sports cards? NFT's?

I'm a huge basketball fan and grew up playing basketball. Lately, I've been doing a lot of research on basketball cards, and it is fun to learn, but right now the market isn't there for buyers. What I mean by that is there are tons of people selling graded cards for tons of money and it's a seller’s market. Buyers who are looking to invest need to find those great deals which are harder to find due to insane amount of people getting into cards. I've been looking at a Ja Morant rookie autographed card in gem mint 10 condition and it's fucking like $4000+ WTF?

No way I'm investing in that. There is no money to make for that card. It got me thinking when the next NBA draft comes around I should bet on some cards and hopefully some of them go up in value over time, but I don't know.

I like real estate, but I’m broke as fuck for that LOL! 👀 What are you guys doing besides investing in stocks/real estate? Any hobby investing? Anything out of the ordinary?

I don’t do graded as the margins just aren’t there in my mind compared to low end raw. But I was doing this well before the card boom during COVId.

Yeah, Card boom exploded like last year. I just got into it honestly and looking at possibility of making money for longterm investment. Right now I am focusing on graded PSA 10 or BGS 9.5/10 rookie auto's. I don't know what to do since i'm so new into it. Right now I'm just buying what I like and players I was a fan of.

Do you buy raw cards and get them graded by PSA/BGS?

I don’t touch graded. I buy low end bulk inserts and rookies penis on dollar from people who are overextended from busting wax (I never ever touch wax)

then I resell. It’s a grind but very profitable all fun

yeah a lot of people Ben to red in during boom and really don’t know what they are doing. There is an art to it for sure.

not saying you can’t make money in graded but graded market still overheated IMO not enough deals
