Bitcoin Reaches $1900. Bubble?

Today Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $1961.70. However, skeptics believe that it is a "bubble in the making."

I'm not too familiar with Bitcoin, other than the fact that it is commonly used to fund illegal activities through websites similar to Silk Road. My take is that as long as the websites that facilitate illegal transactions exist, Bitcoin will continue to see success. However, if the DEA develops a way to trace Bitcoin to buyers/distributers of illegal transactions I could see Bitcoin take a hit.

Any thoughts monkeys? Bubble? If so, when/why do you think it will burst?

I saw some articles about analysts saying it will be $4,000 by the end of the year. One analyst even said that in 10 years he thinks it will be $100,000 but I'm doubtful - Bitcoin has increasing competition from other cryptocurrencies (e.g. Ethereum). I could see growth slowing down in the next couple of years once these competitors make moves.

as you can see they were right, or at least with the first one. WE don't have even the end of the year and price of BTC was already over 5000 dollars per unit. Let's see whether the second prediction come true as well.

Just my opinion, Segwit 2.0, August 1, lots of uncertainties, amateur panic sells. Now is the time to go all in on btc and ethereum. Risky play; all in/nothing play. Hmm
