Crypto 101

I'm a trader on a cross asset desk. I know literally zero about crypto/block chain/bitcoin and I feel like that's a weak spot in my knowledge base. (I should have been trading cash futures basis off my desk)

Does anyone have any good sources one how to get up to speed? Any sell side bank that does a good job? Some recs on a platform to mess around in the PA would be great as well.

thanks

1) Andressen Horowitz (a16z) crypto series . They have videos and podcasts on fundamentals of crypto, how to build apps on top of it, how deal structures work, current market forces, etc... A16Z is one of the bigger name VCs so you know it's kinda legit.

2) Crypto subreddits. People on these are mostly idiots but you'll learn a lot about the behavioral profiles of types of people who are into Crypto nowadays.

3) Whitepapers on Bitcoin & Ethereum. If you have a CS background, it'll be easier to read but you can still pick up bits and pieces.

4) Trading venue. Coinbase is a good syart
