Ethereum & Bitcoin Investing

I've read a lot about cryptocurrencies lately and they've really been blowing up the past couple months. I own a small amount of Ether & BTC (mainly for fun) but now I'm thinking I should put a little more in.

What are y'alls thoughts on the future of crypto?

Also interesting is this blind thread my friend forwarded me earlier this month:

IMO, its general feel of worth is the same as all currency. Its value is dependent on the value that its users give it. Cryptocurrency is just ridiculously volatile, and since it's not tied to any government/etc, it's great for everyone who's going against "the man." I don't think it's the future by any means, but it's a really interesting concept that I wish I knew more about.

Now that it's continuing to gain more and more traction, firms/people are getting more involved and it's kind of a tricky situation. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-06-12/due-popular-demand-goldman-sta…</a">GS put out a statement and it didn't take long for BTC to fall to their window. I'm right there with you holding some BTC for fun from a few years ago, and I'm pretty happy with the investment that it's become (had no idea going in, wasn't even my thought process way back then lol.)

If you can afford a relatively small speculative position, cryptocurrencies can be very interesting. I am unsure whether BitCoin is the still the main currency I'd go for, considering there are a number of others that potentially offer a larger upside.

I'm talking about liquid. Rich enough to have your own jet. Rich enough not to waste time. Fifty, a hundred million dollars, buddy. A player. Or nothing. See my Blog & AMA
