i dont wanna learn crypto but i wanna own it tell me what to buy

yeah. what he said. it's a sort of emotional arbitrage. i will be invested in everything and will get excited when ANYTHING is discussed. forests? yes. i will invest in trees. mills of various sorts. not italian cars. never those. but i will invest in german or swedish engineering with certainty. WITH THAT SAID. tell me wat crypto to buy. dogecoin? bitcoin? of course i am biased to the more humerous sounding ones. OF COURSE. indubitably. but tell me what to buy because i do not care to spend even a moment on research.
and keep in mind my desired outcome is not growth but rather exuberance in as pure a form as i can get it
WHAT SILLY INTERNET MONEY SHOULD I PURCHASE

How's the diworsification working out? Let me know when you want to add pogs to your portfolio; I'll hook you up.

Beanie Babies, definitely Beanie Babies. If you can't swing them why not go for a coin that started out (and still is) a joke like dogecoin. (This is sarcasm in case you can't tell)

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

The entire premise of cryptocurrency is utter garbage. It is premised on several lies.

1) Non-censorship. Coinbase has already deplatformed people for wrongthink.

2) Out of the reach of gov't. Wrong. Gov'ts have banned or regulated cryptocurrencies and/or their trading platforms. In fact, the IRS issued a memo making sure people knew that gains from crypto were very much taxable. No currency is outside the reach of the long arm of the law.

3) Privacy. Wroooong. The blockchain makes it even easier for authorities to obtain a record of your financial transactions.

4) Low or no transaction fees. Maybe. That depends on whether or not laborers and investors in platforms are willing to work for free. So, probably not.

5) No currency devaluation by a central bank. So? If a currency can rise and fall in value 10% in a day or a week then you don't have a currency that's good for conducting business. You have a speculative investment, at best.

Cryptocurrency is straight-up garbage. And many people have made money in it on speculation and many more will continue well into the future. But I don't (well, I no longer) invest in ideas that are intellectually unfounded.

You're only hitting back against the currencies though. What about the cryptocurrencies that have real world use cases, like supply chain management or areas where people will pay a premium for data that is guaranteed to not be compromised?

Anyway, my opinion on cryptocurrencies is that most research is done in vein, coming from someone who has about ten grand in the space. Some people will make a lot of money from doing research on very small cryptocurrencies, with small market caps, or initial coin offerings, but for the most part, since the cryptocurrencies are so tied together, diversification in this space is almost pointless as long as you're not investing in garbage.

Are you talking about blockchain technology generally (which I'm bullish on) or are you talking about a specific use case for a cryptocurrency? If the latter, you'll have to provide me an example of a situation where the global banking system is insufficient for legally operating enterprises to conduct secure financial transactions. I've got to be honest, I struggle to imagine a use case that is not logically flawed, but I'm open-minded to an example.

Is it possible to buy this shit in denominations lower than $5K?

You should be able to buy any amount you want big or small.
