1st year post-grad: BB ER or LO AM?

How should I weigh a BB SSER (JPM/BofA/MS) position in NY vs. LO AM research position in SF -- based on career progression, exits, quality of life, MBA opportunities, etc? Largest detractor from LO AM out of undergrad is how they push associates out after 3 years. Thanks in advance.
