Question: How much weight do referrals and recommendations from Managing Directors hold?
I hit it off pretty well w/ an MD at a MM bank and he is going to recommend me to the MD in charge of the 2024-SA program. My contact said the head MD would probably love to see me as a candidate as I am an Eagle Scout and he was also heavily involved in Boy Scouts. I also connected with another MD who gave me a referral. So I’m wondering, realistically, how much advantage this will give me and how to best utilize this moving forward. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
