Advice for Interviewing With an Associate
Background: Non-target, 3.25 GPA, relevant boutique internships.
Found an open position at a top BB ER firm for a highly ranked team. Applied online, then reached out to the lead analyst expressing my interest to him/her directly with a work sample and resume. Normally I don't hear back more than 1 out of 10 times, but when I do, it's because they took the time to look at the sample.
Basically, the lead Analyst had his senior associate set up a 30 minute phone interview. For someone with my background, this is a great opportunity. How do I convert this into an offer?
