Advice to Make Yourself Competitive Transitioning from Client Facing SA Stint to ER?

Looking to potentially make a jump from a client facing summer internship to ER?

I know there’s a lot less seats than IB/teams mainly are summer analyst to AN conversions but are there any best practices to increase your likelihood of pulling this off?

I know the basics (concrete technicals/people skills/extensive networking) but are there any other ways to get a leg up?

I’m at probably the greatest possible disadvantage here - non-target (good alumni network in FoF tho), and a completely different internship area (albeit with a great name) but I’m dead set on making this possible.

Thanks guys
