Advice to switch from mining
I started 5 months ago, got placed into metals and mining. I know it is still early but I have been struggling to develop interests in the sector. I have heard that it can get a bit hard to switch from mining to other sectors but the move is possible. What are the things that I can do to make the switch? How can I efficiently build rapport in another sector?
I think an internal move is difficult, so my plan is to finish my first full year here and while trying to lateral for another firm. Is this a good plan? Appreciate your input.
