Alleghany Capital Partners?
Does anyone have any incite on this company? They're a subsidiary of Alleghany Corp, which is involved in property and casualty insurance. They're similar to a Berkshire Hathaway (in that they look for long term buy and hold investments) but much smaller, and the job would entail doing equity research strictly for the company's portfolio.
What kind of advancement and future opportunities am I looking at in going to work for a business like this?
