Back of the House to the Front of the House

Hey guys sorry to post in ER but here is the deal. I am in a back office internship, have networked my way into a possible interview for fixed income RA. I have a few months to prepare, but looking for some feedback on my plan. Have taken Portfolio Analysis/ Investment Management and various other courses that have introduced fixed income. I am currently reading Fixed Income Analysis by Fabozzi to get a more in depth understanding. I have a lot of accounting background, as well as financial statement analysis so I feel comfortable with my knowledge there. Also going to take an excel based course in the fall and pick up a book on VBA to get familair with building models.

Other then that I'm at a semi-target, 3.4 GPA, owned/partner in a business (age 19-23) while going to school (recently sold my portion of the business to focus on IM). School took 5 years due to owning a business at the same time. Also part of school's finance and investment club (student managed fund).
