Benefits of using a Bloomberg terminal for ER based research?
Aspiring Equity Researcher here. I have never had access to any enterprise financial software before. I'm interested in hearing about the benefits of using a Bloomberg terminal. Specifically for valuation purposes. When valuing companies I find that some of the most cumbersome tasks include determining the MV of debt, WACC, Depreciation/Amortization schedules and calculating a firms effective tax rate. Do Bloomberg terminals help streamline any of these processes? If not, what are some of the benefits of using a terminal?
