Best double major or major minor combination for equity research
Hello WSO, I'm an incoming freshman at USC majoring in business administration. Unfortunately USC Marshall only has BS in Business Admin and I'm not allowed to take a finance minor according to school rules. So I'm wondering what major/minor combination or double major combination would be best for a buy side equity research job, hopefully in NYC office. I'm thinking about either a business admin/philosophy double minor or a business admin/stats major minor. (USC doesn't have stats major but a stats minor needs just as many credits as a philosophy major)
Something like bus admin and math or cs
thanks for the advice man, unfortunately apply math and cs both require too many courses, don't think i can graduate in four years :(
I go to USC and I’m in CSBA, which is a combined CS and business 4 year program. It’s in viterbi though, so you’d have to apply to transfer in iirc
