Best valuation books for ER?
I've already taken a few finance and accounting classes, so I know the basics. Hoping to go a bit deeper. I know these four books are talked about a lot on the IBD forum. Can anyone vouch for their usefulness in ER: - Investment Valuation by Damodaran - Damodaran on Valuation by Damodaran - Valuation by Mckinsey - Investment Banking by Rosenbaum & Pearl
Other recs are welcome too.
the best practices for equity research analysts book by valentine, thats what my peers have vowed by
rosenbaum for basics/fundamental and how IB analysts look at valuation
damodaran is very technical and too theoretical imo
mckinsey is good, not as technical as damodaran, great book to help how you look at coompanies and determine what drives value
if i had to choose id go valuation mckinsey.. maybe rosenbaum first if you want to brush up on fundamentals
Cool, thanks! And ya, Best Practices for Equity Research rocks, but it isn't too technical.
