Buy-side analysts: How do you decide this was the right fit and what steps did you make to pursue it?
For those have had experience in the role:
- How did you determine this would be the best path for you to take in your career?
- How did you prepare to break in? i.e. what sources did you use to track the markets? Reports did you read? etc.
- In hindsight, what did you wish you had done to prepare?
- What do you plan to do next? Working at HF/AM, ER to PM?
- If any, what do you dislike about the role?
- If you have the experience of performing the role in two different markets, i.e. US vs UK, what are some things that surprised you?
