Buy-side equity analysts- whats your accuracy?

In my firm my PM keeps a record of the recommendations we've made so he can monitor our accuracy over time. What's a good accuracy figure- I'm told that 50% correct leaves you in the top quartile in this industry.

I'd bet it's slightly higher than coin-tossing type accuracy, although you'd need to specify what kind of accuracy you're talking about - is it whether you've got the direction right, whether you've got the reasoning/investment rationale right, whether you've go the timing right, whether you've forecasted earnings accurately etc.
