Can Deloitte/PwC/Booz leads get me into ER?

I have a cousin who's worked at Deloitte (consulting), Booz Allen Hamilton (consulting), and PwC (no idea). He's said he could help me try to get into contact with some people at those companies, but I'm more interested in equity research as opposed to consulting. Could these leads help me get into ER?
