Case Studies Similar to Wirecard?
I am an incoming summer intern in sales and trading at an investment bank. We are currently networking across the firm. One of the people I spoke to told me to research Wirecard and then the next day their share price PLUNGED. I wanted to try to impress them by researching similar share price falls (especially during financial crises) and what happened next for each company. I also wanted to find in-depth research into Wirecard.
Can anyone point me towards resources to find this info or companies I can research?

Didn’t the price fall because of fraud? Is your research going to conclude that share price is negatively impacted by fraud? or are you trying to find potential fraud before it’s public to short the stock like Muddy Waters?
Yes it did. I wanted to look at the way businesses have responded to similar scandals, the impact of senior management stepping down, etc. The fraud was already being investigated for a while now so I'm not really wanting to look at markers, but maybe the reasons that any investor would have held long positions before the plunge. Seemed inevitable and a matter of when not if
Gotcha. Luckin Coffee is a recent one - I believe the WSJ had a pretty detailed article on how it went down along with market data.
