Cleveland Research Company?

Hi all, does anyone have some insight into the Cleveland Research Company as a ER shop? I just found our about them and it seems like a cool spot, but I'm not getting a good understanding of their national reputation. Does anyone have some insight into the kind/quality of work they do?

I have some insight. CRC is a very low profile shop and really does not want to be in the spotlight. I think they mainly do business with about 100 firms (mostly hedge funds but some mutual funds). I would say they do not have the punching power of the BB shops, but they do provide some good research with people that do business with them. Being in the Midwest is a double edged sword. On one hand CRC can see things going on in the street from more of a neutral perspective (also don't have an IB arm, so that helps), but they lose miserably on the corporate access arm. CEO runs their homebuilders/home improvement/furniture vertical and has a good rep on the street.
