Cold Emailing Analyst emails on Equity Research reports
Isn't this a really good resource to find analysts to network with?
Especially say if you could really speak and ask insightful questions about their industry/stocks.
It's probably just as easy as finding a random guy on LinkedIn, but there is something welcoming about seeing an email written out rather than figuring out one by matching names and email structure.
Thoughts on the utility of this cold emailing technique?
Those reports are for employees and clients so good luck. Also, you want to network with associates - it's all backwards in ER.
Most of the time you won't get any response as the analyst is already very busy fielding calls and answering emails from paying clients but try it anyways it won't hurt.
