Do HF’s really check ACT and SAT scores?
I’m recruiting for a fund and they asked me my ACT score. I told them but it’s been on my resume since I started recruiting for ER. I have no issues verifying this if asked. But what’s stopping someone from throwing 36 down?
Pretty certain ACT only sends scores to schools
Some funds do like DE Shaw famously does, but I took those tests almost a decade ago, how would they even verify?
The most they can do is ask for a screenshot of your online score report, but you can use inspect element or photoshop to fudge it pretty easily.
