Economic research intern, graduate opportunities
Hey all,
Sorry this isn't quite in the right forum but it's the closest I could find for economic research. I'll try make this short and sharp.
I'm currently doing a year long internship at a BB in the economic research department as part of my degree (I will be going into 3rd year after).
It's got me thinking about graduate opportunities though. I don't plan on doing a masters yet as I want to earn what I can as soon as possible but you can't go into economic research without one.
So given this, what kind of graduate roles are there at an investment bank that I could go into with just experience in economic research? I'm slightly worried I will have very few options when I graduate.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I'm curious about the economic/commodities research teams at banks too.
What are the backgrounds of people you work with like?
