Equity Resarch Interview - Tips?

I have an interview next week for an ER Associate position in the tech division of a BB.

A couple questions:

  1. If they ask me to pitch them a stock, what should I talk about? Should I pick a company related to tech or does it not matter? There is a danger that if I pick a tech related stock that they cover, they would know much more about the company and can start grilling me...
  2. I have never modeled before. Is there a website where I can get sample ER models?
  3. Where can I get ER Reports that are written by analysts at the BB that I'd be interviewing at? I don't have access to Bloomberg or Capital IQ.
  4. Any interview books I should read? There's no Vault Guide to Equity Research so I'm not sure here.

Thanks!
