Equity Research Comp?
Hi All,
Wondering if anyone has some insight on total comp for 1st year ER associates? Starting in July at a BB and want to know where my comp stacks up, as well as how it may progress over the next 2-3 years. Thanks!

1st year BB ER: $110k base + $10k signing + $20-30k EoY bonus
Most BBs give a fixed amount first years. Pre-bump I'd heard anything from like 20-60% bonus, not sure about post. Afaik, GS and MS have historically paid the most to first years. In the UK, GS used to pay a £30k bonus on a £50k base. MS paid £20 so ~$30k. Not sure if these numbers have changed post-bump
Have you any idea of IBD bonuses in 2022 in London. Didn't see a much relevant threads lately on this forum
