Equity Research (ER) Brand vs Analyst

What would you choose?Assuming, same sector (TMT or HC), associate level (lateral), same city (NYC).

  • European BB (DB, CS, UBS) - non II ranked analyst. Bank is going downhill.
  • EB - non II ranked analyst, M&A advisory focused shop, but not too strong in ECM.
  • MM - II ranked analyst, lower tier MM shop with mediocre ECM.

If its HC (specifically lifesciences), send me a PM and i might be able to opine

Go all the way
