ER Cover Letter - Switching from FICC S&T

Hi Guys,

I am working on the fixed income trading floor - however, due to lots of reasons I am trying to switch into ER/investment banking. In my cover letter, do I need to state specifically why I am trying to leave my job and go into ER?
