ER vs IB to HF

Alright guys… I know it’s been asked before, but given my circumstances should I take my IB offer to pivot to a HF?

Currently in biotech ER and have an offer to come in as an IB analyst 1. Don’t wanna do IB, but if the ends justify the means then I suppose I will/can.

Do I take it to better my chances at a HF?

What type of HF is your end goal? I know plenty of my classmates who went the ER--> MMHF Route. I think in IB it's really hard to do the IB to HF. I think most people do the PE route before going into HF. I could be wrong tho. Just my 2 cents.
