Exit with Good WLB & $200K+ TC
Getting burned out after getting worked for 3 years and want to prioritize other things in my life. Besides AM, what would be some good exit options that would offer 50 hours or less and around $200K+ TC?

IR
I’ve considered IR but I don’t think hours are much better than ER and I’m not sure if pay is great at these levels either. Maybe someone with some experience could chime in here.
UNH IR guy (ex MS ER) is reportedly on 7 figs
I wouldn’t doubt it. I bet a lot of the top IR guys at large cap public companies have close to 7 figure comp.
I’m referencing exits after the typical 2-5 years or so in what would be around a manager level (I think?). Based on what I’ve seen, junior IR roles don’t pay too well and the hours are much closer to ER hours based on the nature of the job. I would recommend staying in ER if that’s the case.
With all that said, I could be wrong and I’m sure there are IR spots at companies that pay well. I just haven’t seen that yet.
