Finally landed a job in ER: What to expect?

Almost unbelievable, I was able to land a job in ER 6 months out of college. As a little background, I graduated from a completely unknown school and had no internship. The position I was able to land is at an FIG IB. I’m still pretty shocked I was even considered, much more so that I actually got the role.

I start very soon as an entry-level Associate. I have a ton of questions, mainly what to expect. I understand that the type of analysis at a FIG will be very different. Also that starting out it will be mostly grunt work. But apart from that, how is the career trajectory from here, in terms of taking on more responsibility? Also, I was told hours are basically 7-7 and 6-midnight during earnings. I welcome the grind, but is this pretty accurate?

Very thrilled to finally begin my career and I welcome any advice. Thank you all!
