Forgot pre-clearance for a sell on personal account
Long story short I have just joined a BB and need to close my personal accounts - however I forgot to get pre-clearance before making a trade. The nature of trade is kinda like a liquidation before account gets closed - but do I need to get pre-clearance for it?? Freaking out rn..
Yea this could be an issue, compliance at big banks are no joke with this.
Seems like a genuine mistake, I'd imagine it's not too large amount of money anyways, + if it's not a client, just reach out to compliance/whoever manages the clearance at your bank - you'll be fine dw
