GS GIR - From buyside institutional sales

Applied for the real estate sector junior analyst. Just passed a few round of phone interviews with the division HR, going to the next round with the analysts in two weeks.

  • What are some tough questions or concerns with my competiency, or background? I'm an associate for institutional sales at a real estate private equity shopo. I'm client relations, but I occasionally help research with their data updates.

Undergraduate in literature, target school in my region, passed CFA. Started career as developer (valuation), 2nd year in current firm.

  • What are some questions to my motives or story? My answer is along the lines of "I want get into analyzing and advising investors, while utilizing my industry experience in real estate/finance, and institutional sales experience"

I'm going to ready 2 stock pitches, but anything I should do in the precious 2 weeks of time??
