H.C. Wainwright, no information online?

Hey JMK, I was interviewing there earlier this year for an ER role (Rodman & Renshaw is their ER department). I agree, there isn't much online about them and I spend most of my time just researching the analyst that I was interviewing with. Happy to share more if you'd like.

PIPE, Reverse Mergers, SPAC deals, etc. Shop. That market is dead, but HCW operates very similarly to that of Maxim, ROTH, Ladenburg etc.

Interviewed there twice. Got interviews through a connection there. They say they do banking but in reality theres hardly no DCFs, probably just comparables, research or a management presentation or two. Not relevant to banking. They are renowned for life sciences and bio tech research, but its more of a relationship driven model and they dont do any M&A (if thats what youre looking for). Overall, cool people but hardly any dealflow other than mosly PIPES, private placements and common stock issuance here and there..

I was given an offer a little while back- their pay is pretty bad (the lowest I have seen so far from ER).

HC Wainwright is a fraudulent company . They pump and dump penny stocks. HC Wainwright accepts kickbacks for inside information. They have been subpoenaed for this exact issue. Look at the hourly wage paid for "investment bankers". Who pays an Investment banker an hourly wage, seriously? All of their analysts have unverifiable credentials. Individuals they post with "legitimate" creds are listed on the site that have the same name of people with said credential that work for other firms . Very surprised this company hasn't been forced to shut it's doors. Anyone one here interviewing with this company must have their MBA from Devry. Goodluck.
