healthcare vs consumer goods

which industry would you rather compare and why?

my chief reason is: something basic like consumer goods is easiest to learn

but healthcare has the fastest growth (for the future), though it is much harder to grasp

thanks for the input

Personally, I would go consumer goods for your exact reason. Unless you're interested in healthcare and can stand reading medical journals/studying reimbursement issues/etc. I, for one, can't stand it. Not sure what position or company you're looking at, but If you have to sell in the opportunity to the PE shops/acquiring parties/etc., it's very difficult to do so if you just don't understand the company & industry.
